Not a dedicated bakery, so I was a bit nervous (I have celiac, and react strongly to even trace amounts of cross-contamination.) but my friend had come.
After I was in la for the celebration, I decided to visit oregon to check the state of my bucket list. while I visited most portland, we decided to drive.
Tried Sweet Life this morning for their cinnamon rolls (vegan style)....definitely a Fork Knife Endeavor!! #Veganuary Had to add to this post, as we also had a Vegan Birthday Cake. It was pretty good, but what I like about this place is that their products are clearly marked with a Yellow sign for dairy/egg free , essentially vegan items. They strive to use Vegan sugar as well, which isn 't widely known that regular sugar is processed with bone-char. Glad this place is in Eugene. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-15
Eugeners will often direct you here. And they do have quite a selection and some nice outdoor seating with a great location near downtown and the Whitacre district. But their goodies are never as tasty as they are pretty. More likely to put you in a diabetic coma. I go for pie or vegan cheesecake and usually find someone to share it with and cut it with strong coffee/tea. Late night and early morning hours tend to have a line out the door.
