Vivanda - Firenze

Vivanda is a great place to take friends or colleagues where one or more may not be ready for a full-on vegan or vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and we have found the staff friendly. Vegan and vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu, and the selections are tasty. The wine selection is extensive and between the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the staff, a night at Vivanda can be a great experience.

A shame there is no where to sit outside. The water had a very dry sense of humour that was hit and miss and kept forgetting things we ordered. All our dishes were pretty bland and I know I could have made more tasty food at home. Disappointing and portions on the small side, so not as reasonable as you'd think. I left hungry.

Great food and they make their own noodles!!! Vegan and vegetarian options too!!! A must when you are here. Gaia is an awesome waitress. Ask her for recommendations.

I went there knowing that it was not all vegan/veg and was super happy to find that everything was clearly labeled veg/vegan/not. If I did have questions, a super patient staff was willing to help with the menu. Food was simple, clean, and flavorful; just how I like it!! I'm really happy I stumbled across this place while wandering the beautiful streets of Florence. Updated from previous review on Saturday March 12, 2016
