Wine Haus - Flatonia

I'm not sure what's going on in Flatonia, but the locals clearly appreciate good service. This restaurant was no exception. It was truly a delight to have dinner there.

On that visit, we ordered the Ham Swiss Omelette with Hash Browns, the Seafood Cobb Salad, and the Classic – three eggs cooked any way you like, served with bacon, hash browns, and toast. All our dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection. So impressed with our Sunday brunch, we made plans to come back the following Saturday evening to try the dinner menu. That Saturday, we indulged in various wines and shared a generous platter of Crispy Brussels Sprouts, a delightful dish of pan-grilled Brussels sprouts, olives, glazed pecans, and a tangy sweet chile sauce that added just the right amount of heat. We agreed that the appetizer paired perfectly with our wine selection. For our main courses, we enjoyed the Crispy Panko Shrimp, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Seafood Cobb Salad, Wagyu Rib Eye, and Chicken Fried Steak. The welcoming atmosphere of the historic building and the attentive service created a wonderful camaraderie throughout our meal. We highly recommend a visit to the Wine Haus in Flatonia, TX, where you can savor high-quality Classic American Cuisine. I had the steak and eggs, and it was fantastic. The potatoes were absolutely delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. I highly recommend this place!

This establishment has permanently closed its doors. The original owner has passed away, and the family held their final service today, April 30, 2023.

We were in from out of town staying down the road and dropped in to try it out. Such a cute spot located in an historic building. Everyone inside was super sweet. I got the wine flight and loved the ones he gave me. The food was the super star of the show!! I got the schnitzel and my mom got the potato soup and the both were sooo good! Almond joy cake was sinful! Can’t recommend highly enough and next time we are in the area we will definitely be returning. Thank you again!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
