The food here is amazing. I ordered the nachos and chicken wings along with strawberry soju. The pickled jalapeños that they serve are outstanding. I’m bringing my entire family here. The atmosphere, the decor, even the music is great! This place deserves way more reviews and customers. There is plenty of parking in the back. Make sure you ask for Carlos, he’s super nice. Recent visit 1/2023: Just as outstanding as the last visit.. This time was a dine-in experience. We had an amazing waiter, order was swift and delicious. Loved the decor and atmosphere vibe.Previous visit: Ordered wings (garlic soy and sweet tangy), grilled salt porkbelly and spicy chicken with cheese. And all of it was amazing. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. We were just passing through NJ. But this will be a return visit for sure.
Very good Pocha dishes at reasonable prices in a cozy romantic and fun atmosphere. The place is clean, and the service is excellent, as is the K-Pop selection. However, I had to leave off a star because they are sorely lacking in the beer, Makgeolli, and Soju selection. Kloud is just OK, but it's the best they offer. Sadly, there are no Korean craft beer options. Similarly, there are no artisanal Makgeolli options, despite excellent brands nearby in Brooklyn. Likewise, there are artisanal Soju options available both from Korea and right here in the glorious USA, but they are not on the menu, unfortunately.
Went on a week day during the holiday season, so it was kind of slow. the food was fine, standard pocha fare, but nothing stood out all that much; maybe 3.5 on its own. service was meh so i give it a solid 3. food: corn cheese fine, hard to mess that up. pa dak (scallion chicken) was good but more like a tempura piece of chicken i can see why some reviewed this as only ok. the bulgogi nachos were good but not enough bulgogi. the sausage/dduk and chicken skewers were very good. was with people who don't handle spice well, and they were able to accommodate for the cheese ddukbokki, which i appreciated. service wasn't terrible but wasn't great. i think there were only 2 people front of the house, so maybe they were short staffed. the food came out in fine time, but we had to ask several times for water refills, and utensils. ambience is cute, i like the twinkly lights, keeps with the ohbahm theme. private parking lot available, but not a ton of spots. id come back, but probably not my first choice for pocha in the area.
