5/5 stars for this unassuming restaurant in a strip mall on Rt22. You might miss it if you drive too fast. I rarely give 5 stars but this place absolutely deserves it. I headed there on a Sunday for a Jazz Brunch featuring Bobby Wise. The food was served as small plates and there wasn't a bite of food that we didn't love! How is that possible? I watched people's responses to their first bites and could tell they were enjoying it just as much. We were served chicken and waffles, home fries, breakfast quesadilla, Haitian Jon Jon rice, salad, sausage and Im sure I'm forgetting some things. I mean everything was legit. My favorite serving was the grits and not everyone can cook grits so I was pretty happy that they nailed it. The owner Darius came out and introduced himself and was friendly and pleasant. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Just an all around good experience here. We ended the meal with a small serving of smoothie that was also perfect. This place is the real deal. If it wasn't so far(an hour) I'd come back to try the other things. Please go!! Especially if they are having a jazz brunch. Quiet enjoyable!! Absolutely 5/5

Darius did an amazing job catering my retirement party. The guest were well pleased with the fully dress pasta station. The fabulous appetizers were magnificent, top off with his delish strawberry-mango smoothies that cleared the pallet before the main course. The service was professional and warm.I highly recommend him, if you are looking to add class to your affair.

Decided to try this place for the first time. Aw man! I ordered a pull pull chicken salad and i was not disappointed. The flavors are amazing!!!. A bit nervous at first walking in it didn’t look as if they were open yet. But based off the meal i had today 9/10. I’ll definitely be going back

Darius catered a very special event at my home. The food was simply amazing! Upon arrival, he set up the food display and created a wonderful presentation. Everyone was thrilled with food and even took some home with them. I will definitely be using his services for future events.

The best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had hands down! The homemade chips are to die for as well! This will definitely be my go to spot when I’m craving an authentic southern cooking
