Decent quality food, very generous portions for the price. I've eaten everywhere in Guildford. Many places look better, feel better and provide better service yet I won't go anywhere else :)
Staff were very unwilling to help to accommodate my order requirements. I was asked to change my order and pick something else from the menu. all I wanted was a cheese burger chips and banana milkshake?
If you are having breakfast here make sure you bring your appetite. The servings are generous to say the least...2 nicely poached eggs, runny and oozy, sat under a mountain of bacon, with crisped fat and juicy and tender meat; half a grilled tomato and of course toast. It made for a substantial meal. A cup of creamy smooth tasting coffee at the right temperature rounded out the meal. There is seating on the footpath shaded by umbrellas as well as in a number of small rooms inside. A recent makeover has brightened the place up. Along with a variety of cakes, scones and light lunches it is a friendly and welcoming spot on ghe James St strip. perthcafeculture.com.au
Service is a hit and miss but we like the breakfast options and the coffee is generally spot on. Great ambience antique style furniture add a novelty factor.
Found this place on a Sunday stroll in Guildford. Very nice decor and cosy interior but we were left a bit dissapointed as the beans were canned and didn't go well with the eggs and the coffees we ordered took too long to arrive. Might try again in the future.
