Contribuisci feedbackI visited this restaurant on Natal Day, and luckily it wasn't too crowded, so we found a seat quickly. We all ordered different dishes, and I went for the Yaki Udon, which I had enjoyed on a previous visit. While it was good, I was surprised to find it quite oily, which somewhat dulled the flavor for me. It was decent, but not outstanding. On a positive note, my friends were all pleased with their meals. The portion sizes are generous for the price. I’m likely to return to explore more menu options, but I hope they improve the Yaki Udon since it used to be my favorite. As for vegetarian options, they do offer a Veggie Ramen.
Buta Ramen is our favorite spot for the most delicious Japanese noodles. My top choice is the Spicy Miso Ramen, while my husband enjoys the Yaki Udon with Katsou. Although the meal portions are quite generous, we usually manage to save some space to share a slice of Matcha Cheesecake, which is smooth, tasty, and not overly sweet. We've consistently received prompt and friendly service. A typical bill for two comes to about $60, including taxes.
The ramen here is exceptional! I ordered the tantanmen, which is my favorite, and it did not let me down. The broth was rich and full of flavor, the eggs were fantastic, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend adding an extra egg and making the broth extra spicy; it enhances the flavor without being overwhelming. I visited in the afternoon on a sunny day due to a craving, but anytime I've been here, the service has been impressively quick. The atmosphere is vibrant yet quiet enough for a good conversation. It's definitely a perfect spot to enjoy on a rainy day or during the winter months.
A hidden gem right downtown!Pretty cozy space with not a lot of seating, so keep that in mind if you have a larger group attending.Their vegetarian ramen is delicious, so flavorful and loaded with toppings. They also offer a tasty korokke (croquette) if you're looking for a veggie appetizer. The tables each have some additional toppings as well if you want to kick it up a notch.I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options for Japanese brews and liquors their sake was smooth and tasty nothing fancy, but just nice to have the option available on a cold day.Would recommend checking it out if you have an itch for ramen in the downtown core.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options available
Definitely some of the best ramen i’ve ever had and for less than $20 I will definitely be coming back. the server we had was amazing as well.
