Great China Chinese - Harlingen

I visited the buffet today with my partner, and we had an enjoyable experience. While they don’t offer as many options as some other Chinese buffets, the food is genuinely delicious, which makes it easier to decide what to order. They just need to add a little something to their corn nuggets—we rarely find corn nuggets anywhere else! Our waitress, Marbella, was very attentive and friendly. The only downside was that the heating in the buffet didn’t seem to work well for everything; some of the dishes didn’t seem as fresh as we would have liked, but they still tasted good overall.

I typically don't visit regular buffets, but since my father enjoys them, I decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes, including seafood and soups. There were also more vegetable options than you'll find at most places, along with a wide selection of desserts, including ice cream and homemade pastries. My personal favorites were the crab rangoon and the translucent jello. The waiting staff was friendly and accommodating. It's no wonder that locals frequently support this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dining experience, and the service was exceptional. This place will definitely become one of our favorites. Dinner was just $13.99 per person, which is an excellent value for the quality we received.

A wild rip off for the food they serve.. $60 bucks for a party of 4, and there was hardly anything worthwhile on the buffet. Basically just going through the motions at this point. Quality is low. Server staff slow.. it's a $5 buffet at best.. sad because 20 years ago this place was pretty good. Now you pay for the pleasure of being disappointed. :

Sad to say, but do not even stop by. The selection is extremely small and the food is not tasty. We normally go to a place in McAllen that is huge the food is delicious. We didn't feel like driving so decided to check this place out. Biggest regret! Same price for something that was quite mediocre. Never again. One star because I have to and cause the waitress was nice.
