Cafe Mil Hojas - Harrison

I absolutely adore their pernil sandwich and would give them a 5-star rating, despite the long wait for our order. However, today I was disappointed. The same person who prepared the food also handled the money at the checkout without wearing gloves. I hope the owner reads my review and addresses this issue. I will give their pernil sandwich another try, and hopefully next time, there will be separate staff for food preparation and handling the register.

The food at this restaurant tasted like something you would get from a food truck. The only thing that seemed freshly made was the salad with our meals. The bacon, eggs, and sausage were all heated up from pre-cooked containers in the fridge and microwave. The smoothie wasn't terrible, but it didn't taste like fresh ingredients were used - it had a more artificial, commercial flavor. I was disappointed after seeing the high rating and number of reviews. I hope this was just an off day for them and wish them the best.

I used to love this restaurant, but lately the quality has really gone down. The green smoothies that I used to enjoy now taste like they were made with old ingredients and the food doesn't seem fresh. The texture and color are also not the same as before.

Arrived today and ordered a green smoothie and chicken sandwich. The service in this place is embarrassing. The lady on the front was rude and short with me to ask questions about the menu. I'm a first customer, a little enthusiasm would have been nice. If you're in your job, that's a problem between you and the manager. Not with me. I couldn't even enjoy my food bc her negative energy was so out of plaster. It won't come back. Eat was eh.

It?s a very lovely cafe located in Harrison with many parking spots around (thankfully! . The food was sooooo freaking good and I was really happy about it! They were really nice, quick and everything was fresh. I will certainly be coming back and inviting friends!
