The Sub Station Mexican Grill

The best Mexican cuisine and subs can be found in Harrisonburg. The staff is incredibly friendly, the decor is charming, and the menu offers a fantastic mix of sub and Latin food options, with some delicious overlaps.

I read another review that praised the portion sizes, so I decided to give it a try. However, I found the portion sizes to be lacking given the prices. First off, the menu discrepancies are confusing—one menu lists prices that are off by $2, while the other is off by $4. I spent $18 on a footlong sub, expecting it to be enough for about 2.5 meals. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. While the sub was delicious, it was far from filling. I could count the number of pieces of each ingredient on my two hands. The bread was toasted but oddly soggy on one side. I’ll give it four stars for the taste—really tasty, but just too pricey for what you get.

Everything I've had from here is very good. I think it's a little pricey, but it's good, so I don't mind paying more. They are really nice very friendly. The owner is always very kind

Unique spot that never disappoints. Best tortas around in my opinion. I prefer their salsa and much more over el charro etc. convenient location and great owners.

This is a small restaurant, but the food is fantastic. It's a dine-in venue with very reasonable prices for the meals. However, be cautious with the drink prices; our sodas were $5 each. We ordered tacos and a turkey sub, and everything was delicious.
