The tamale on the combination plate was hard, the retried beans were runny, the rice lacked flavor, and the flour tortilla was over cooked. If you want good Mexican food, you can find much better in Deming, T or C, or Las Cruces.
The shop featuring metal art, pottery, and more is open and definitely deserves a 4-star rating. HOWEVER, THE DINER IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS.
We had a wonderful experience with fantastic service and absolutely loved the food. I ordered the California burrito topped with green chili, while my husband enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros Christmas. Everything was quick and delicious!
All our meals were very tasty! And homemade, even chips which were great! Wide variety of items to choose from. Kids had French toast that came with fresh fruit eggs and sausage/bacon. I had the flautas and both the shredded beef and chicken were made in house and SIL had chili rellenos that were light, fluffy and delish. Lots of curios and cute little shop inside, definitely going back
The food was very good. I got 2 burritos thinking that for the price they were probably small and I was wrong. I think the burritos are made on homemade tortillas. They were so good, I got one of chicharron and one of barbacoa. My kid ordered the green chile burger and he loved it and is now asking to have all his burgers made with green chile. They served chips and salsa and the salsa was to die for! I wanted to drink it. The service was outstanding from the server. I don't remember his name but he had a small tattoo by his left eye, he made us feel welcome by interacting with us with small chit chat and made us laugh making us feel like we were family. We will definitely be back.
