This restaurant offers the finest Chinese food in the city. The staff is friendly and service is quick.
On September 10, I spent a little over $40 on four meals at a restaurant I have been dining at for years. Unfortunately, today the food was terrible. The peas were hard, almost like wax, and the shrimp egg foo young was burned and tasted off, with the rice being hard as well. We also ordered rib tips, which had a rubbery texture. I was so disappointed that I decided I would never return. When I tried to call and share my concerns about the food, I felt unheard.
This restaurant is on the hill. Tonight I was served burned spring rolls. You couldn't say what they were. I'm not back.
Tried a few times, always thought maybe it was just an off day. Never again. Our wanton appetizer seems like it was day old and just re-deep fried. Which made it over cooked dry and too crunchy to eat. My chicken in the sweet and sour dish also seemed old and very stringy. And my hubby said his beef with Chinese veg's was different from last time, and the fried rice had a strange taste. We miss NY Chinese take out, if this is what your looking for. Pass this place up.
