Aloft - Hobart

My wife and I had dinner in aloft last night from five in a loft. we had luck having a table next to the window with a view of the harbour. the cooking menu combines beautifully presented local products with excellent local weeping. the service...was excellent by friendly, knowledgeable employees. cost a few bob, but absolutely worth it.

Dined her for dinner and the courses were absolutely delightful! The whole menu was well balanced and used all fresh produce from the area. The seafood was superb and the cocktails were amazing. Great experience in general!

Even as a single diner I managed to sneak a place on the kitchen table around 530 clock cool! very friendly staff let me sit and I was entertained by the meal of the cook, assistent, sommelier and all there work! friendly and...warm on a drippy wet evening! eating was excellent! loved the wallaby tartare that I was abit was cautious, but it was delicious! I could say the lamb ribs were prepared with dc. the Kingfish ceviche was the most refreshing after taste. the blue trevally was perfectly thought and the koji swarm was almost too much to finish. the dessert mandarin, caramelized white chocolate, buttermilk was a heavenly end to a really excellent dinner in hobart, tasmania!

We had the cooking menu with matching weeping, sitting next to the window with a magnificent view over the river and the boats coming and from the Hobart docking stations. the service was very friendly, attentive and informed thanks to riley and the team. the eating was the best we had in hobart during our trip. not cheap, but every penny worth! they have really taken care that I am gluten free.

Always love to aloft. I get the solo seats at the bar so that the cooks come and tell them their dishes, which is such a great experience. her menu is always delicious, healthy and well thought out. great aromen and I always love her cocktails. I will go back again and again as long as I am in hobart! will highly recommend.
