Amigos Mexican - Hobart

They will not find a better place to eat than amigos. I recommend this restaurant to anyone I can and anyone who has followed my recommendation was amazed that they do not know that this jewel existed. I mourned long time when the original restaurant closed, but when the new opened it opened it even better! it is hard to say what is better from eating or service, but trust me when I say that they are both the best they find in tasmania, if not the world. eating is full of taste and can be adapted to the needs of people. if they want to eat spicy, they give them spicy food. if they are vegan, they will not worry about them. my only complain about eating is that there are so many tantalizing options to choose that I fight to decide what I have visited on each of my regular! the personal is incredible. so attentive and friendly. I had made the inevitable strange mistake in very few of my many visits here, and every time they went beyond and beyond to fix the problem. they are incredibly accommodating. they will do everything it takes to deliver the best possible experience to their diners. the atmosphere is also incredible and very cheesy. it provides an interesting culinary experience than all other stale, minimalist restaurants around. When they try to decide where to go for a meal, they stop immediately and go to amigos. I guarantee they will not be disappointed.

Love Mexican culture food. Unfortunately as we were travellers, we didn’t know local policy, not on the website, our booking while accepted no confirmation. Upon turning up, told they had not received the enquiry, all that could be offered at 06:15 was outside. Later that evening, email received that we should have phoned. So might write up is not about the food, more about the process and communication. All good though at that hour many other restaurants were available to take our money.

I had an amazing time in amigos mexican restaurant the personal was the absolute highlight! our server where really friendly and friendly! eating was amazing and full of taste! can't fail with eating! the golffajitas were delicious and so were the nachos! the place is really cool and fits very well with the Mexican mood! they have nothing to complain about! the drink menu was huge and there was really something for everyone! there must be a 5 out of 5 stars of me! will come back soon!

Not pretentious vibes, friendly and attentive staff, the decor is fun,bright and kitch, and eating is fantastic. $25 for 3 courses (get the suppe it was so yum) will be again many times! bonus points for warm inner life during this cold winter!

Yum! I ordered a vegetarian chimichanga to take with you tonight. the restaurant and the staff are very welcome, all the employees smiled and greeted me. my order lasted 15 minutes and was absolutely delicious. the carrot and mushroom filling was tasteful, and I enjoyed the plant sauce with the meal not a choice that I would have made and I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. the rice and the beans next to the main was a nice supplement to make it a complete (very big) meal. would definitely recommend!
