Was after a light lunch & has the Thai sweet potato & coconut soup which was absolutely delicious. Needless to say it was washed down with a very nice Cascade Stout & a cider. Great place for a relaxing lunch even if you don't do the brewery tour
My friends love this place and I would recommend it to anyone. It's popular because it has a great setting whether indoors or out, with a varied menu, good service, and a small but interesting museum that's free. Add in a tour if you want, too.
Dropped in at the end of the day for a quick drink. The bar sits in a glass atrium very groovy with big copper plumbing to the beer taps. Good selection of Casade beers available some which aren't available on the mainland. Beautiful gardens all around the restaurant to have a drink in. Gift shop and small section depicting the history of the brewery. Too late in the day to join a tour but still a great place for a visit and have a beer.
The brewery has its own cafe/restaurant , if you go on the brewery tour they give you 10% off you purchase.
We visited on a Saturday to do the brewery tour, it was disappointing that it was not in production on that day. A discount on the tour price would be good if there isn't much to see. The tastings were good and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe and tasting area is very nice.
