Six of us (two couples along with a teenager and adolescent boy) dined at Lime Lemongrass in Bellerive. It was a casual gathering with both couples wanting to keep things simple due to busy schedules. We opted for the Entree for four, which included 4 spring rolls, 4 dumplings, and 4 Samosas, all for a very reasonable $12.00. We also ordered some roti for the younger two and requested plenty of rice as the teenagers are big fans of rice and roti bread. For our main dishes, we ordered five dishes including two noodle dishes, two stir-fries, and the standout yellow curry. While all dishes were tasty, the yellow curry was a definite favorite among everyone. We customized the dishes with chicken, beef, or tofu as per our preferences. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was just $2 per person. It was a fantastic evening reminiscent of a banquet, and the total cost came to roughly $25 per person. We left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied after enjoying the delicious food served by the friendly staff. For an enjoyable dining experience on Hobart's Eastern Shore, Lime Lemongrass in Bellerive is a must-visit.
Friendly and helpful waitress. The food was delicious. Good variety and cheap. Very recommended for a simple night.
This restaurant is small, but the service is great and the food is very nice. The price is reasonable and a lot of parking.
Went there 10 years ago and wasn't impressed but figured everything changes over 10 years. But nup, not this restaurant. No beef salad so went for a prawn carrot salad. Sauce was so sweet it was almost like raw sugar! And the prawns were battered...and deep fried. Said nothing about battered and fried prawns on the menu and if I was really hungry I would have sent it back. But my wife ate the prawns and I filled up on the carrot. Went home and had a sandwiche. Won't go back. Much better Thai restaurants in Hobart but Bellerive is close so that is a nuisance.
