I've had just about every cafe breakfast in town. Yesterday my partner and I intended to have breakfast at Machine Laundry (as one does) but it was packed out (as it often is). The usual alternatives weren't sitting with us right, so we wandered over to "where the Mill used to be" - Music Bar. We'd walked past a few times previously and had been interested but never actually gone in.Turns out they do breakfast. And boy, what a great option. Seriously up there with the nicest breakfasts in town. I had the Full Vegetarian, mainly for the fact that I was in a halloumi mood. What you get is a very generous serving of everything a good breakfast should have. The halloumi itself was thick and done just right. Eggs poached very well and the mushrooms, greens and other components were all spot on. Came served in a very nice (wide) a-symmetrical bowl. Great cappuccino, too! Will be considering this place over others for future breakfasts.
A friend and I stumbled upon this quaint place on our way back to our accommodation. What an awesome place with a fantastic atmosphere a stunning building. Very relaxed and laid back. Great service and friendly staff. Although we did not eat we did peruse the menu and saw many dishes being served around us they looked fantastic. The young singer was greatly entertaining and very talented. I look forward to going back.
We visited in April just after it opened. Great vibe music atmosphere and food. Will definitely return on next trip to Hobart.
We visited on a Saturday night for my birthday a few weeks ago. The staff were really friendly and food was good. The live music was fun, the perfect acoustics and nice lighting also contributed to a lovely atmosphere.
