Ubu Sushi - Hoboken

Consistently good! Can always count on them to have a delicious meal!

The sashimi appetizer was small and rather unusual. The rolls were not impressive, and the gyoza was just average.

We've visited a few times and had a great experience, but our latest delivery was disappointing. The chirashi came drenched in mayo, which was off-putting. The seafood soup was only filled halfway, and the edamame didn’t seem fresh. The sushi and sashimi combo was just okay, but the overall quality was lacking. Such a letdown.

There was too much rice in the sushi. The Philadelphia Roll contained very little salmon and cream cheese. The Spicy Mayo had an odd color and taste. I'm not sure how this place has received good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The Spicy Dadaki appears fresh, but I'm a bit skeptical.
