Contribuisci feedbackStopped for a quick feed. We got satay skewer and HongKong dimsims. Waited 20+ minutes for the order. Didn’t really mind the wait, but when the food came out. It was beyond belief. The chef was a legit Asian, but the satay was horrible. Completely deep fried and they used what it looked like a chicken cut offs (tenderloins). The dim sims however tasted like the ones you buy from Asian markets. Frozen. Pity we were on the rush and didn’t bother talking to the cook.the service from the lady was great! She did well, except that a young boy was behind her distracting her with the very best he can so she can’t really focus on serving me.
Food was beautiful, friendly staff and great environment.

Another great find on Holbrook. The place is recently renovated and looks fresh and modern. Bistro is more like an RSL than a pub but the food is definately classic pub plus. . Then, if you feel like venturing away from classic then there is plenty gourmet selection. The wine list offers good regional variety. Great for family or for a good meal out.
So I am at the Holbrook Hotel as write... Callum (he was named by his own peers) took my order about 5.50pm... Mind you... not the friendly kind. Seems he did not want to be bothered. it is now 7.11pm... I enquired about 7pm. Luckily this beautiful lady and attentive lady (megan) came to my rescue...she apologised offered me a beer and organised my meal pronto. Someone should have a talk to Callum. He is ruining for the likes of Megan the other great staff. Btw, my complements on the steak, perfect, yummy! Ps. I 'll be back to look for megan and the same aged steak 7.32pm... man that steak is so good... I do recommend the venue and the food.. and megan and the others
