The chicken is not sharp at all, but has a good taste. The potatoes I had with the braided short rib were the creamiest, smooth, best potatoes I ever had. Seriously good. This place was formerly Rustic Chicken, but they took the room and made it themselves. Hold for breakfast or lunch!
I've been waiting for a restaurant like this to open up near me for a long time! Genuinely amazing food that isn't your basic breakfast/brunch/lunch fare, but that also isn't too unique or strange. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. The head chef, Bobbi, clearly loves what she does and always goes out of her way to talk to each table about their meal. I've had the braised short ribs, pancakes, two egg breakfast, and green chili pork. I literally dream about all of the food! As a chef myself, this is the kind of food I could eat all day, every day. The plating is always gorgeous, and the attention to detail spreads from the food to the decor. Love the locally made drink options as well! I will be a regular here until the end of time
I really enjoyed my butter chicken. Portion sizes could stand to be a little better, but I didn't leave feeling like I needed a nap. Pastries are delicious. Prices aren't cheap, but aren't insane. I left happy with my meal.
So glad to find a great new restaurant in Salt Lake Valley. For breakfast I go for Pork Chile Verde (Picky, convenience and creamy). For dinner I would choose the short ribbons with potatoes. Such a pleasure. For something lighter I would go for the Quinoa Salad - still fill, but not too hard. The ingredients are good quality and they use olive oil in their kitchen - no cheap oils - this is a great victory! There are large gluten-free and/or vegetarian options. Go and enjoy breakfast or lunch there (not open for dinner) You will enjoy it!
I had read the other reviews and had stopped here many times. I wanted to try today and so glad I did. I had the Lox Benedict. The sauce was fantastic with a hint of lemon and spices. The eggs were perfectly cooked and there was only the correct amount of tox to make it really delightful. My mother had the eggs, toast, bacon and hashbrowns and also enjoyed them. She shared her toast and jam with me and the homemade jam was the best I ever tried. 4 stars only because the O.J. did not taste house and prices are a bit higher end. I would definitely return!
