Smothered burrito has amazing sauces. The rice and beans inside were nothing special.

This place is clearly a town favorite!! Lots of happy customers. Super accommodating about vegan options- they couldn’t do the flautas vegan but showed us what they were able to do. Thanks fellow vegans for posting this restaurant on Happy Cow. It is delicious, fast, and very affordable. It’s off the beaten path, but it was packed. It didn’t stop locals or travelers from seeking them out. When you order, just let them know you’re vegan. They will let you know what they can offer. My husband and I each ordered smothered burritos. When they ask if you want extra vegetables, say yes. Otherwise the inside will be rice and beans only. Their sauces are delicious!! Highly recommend.

Being from San Diego it's hard to find good Mexican food elsewhere when traveling. This place was a nice find.

The smothered burrito comes with incredible sauces. However, the filling was nothing to write home about.
