Not excellent food but definitely good. Very generous portions! Our delightful waitress had a party of 15 that came in just after we did, plus they were on the opposite side of the restaurant, so we had to wait quite a bit for everything (placing our order, getting our food, getting drink refills, getting our check). I should probably have asked her to just let another waitstaff take care of us so she could focus on the large group. She really did do her best to keep everyone happy. It is a nice place and we'll definitely go again. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. The food was great. The Philly steak with cheddar cheese was phenomenal. My grandsons burger looked good. He mentioned it is the best he had. Battered fries were great and remained crunchy. Service by Robin was mpeccable. I recommend eating here when you are in Independence.
