It was a tofu, tofu, tofu at night. we ordered Vietnamese salat with tofu, vermicelli with sweet and tofu and crispy tofu with rice some other menu options, such as potsticker, were not available. eating is fresh, portions are reasonable, seasoning is tasty, and some special menu items are listed as vegan. other main dishes have toofu instead of meat or fish, as option, so there is a series of choices for vegetarian or vegan. the crispy tofu was delicious, but the court had very few sweets, so I recommend ordering further sweet dishes together with him. the prices are reasonable. there were a few glitters that make our order and get. 1.The restaurant now only accepts telephone orders, so we had to stand on the way in front of the restaurant to call in our order. if these information had been on the website, we would have called in advance. 2. we had a fairly frustrating conversation to make sure that any sose, condition, or additional ingredient would be vegan or vegetable based ie salat dressing or toppings). at the end it worked. 3. we said we would get a call back when the job was done. we didn't do it and finally called the restaurant again. the job was ready, waited for the pick-up, so plan ahead and check them carefully. updated by previous review on 2021-10-03
Went to Saigon Kitchen based on good reviews on Happy Cow and Trip Advisor and it was a fantastic experience and meal. Quick, friendly service and great vegetarian and vegan options including a vegetable pho. Highly recommended for a great meal. The restaurant is a bit small and noisy but personally I love that vibe. Check it out! (I wanted to give five cows but Happy Cow only lets me give four.
Being Vietnamese and hailing from Orange County, California, I can say that this restaurant is decent. It's not the best, but it's sufficient to satisfy my cravings for Asian food. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is worth it. I ordered the Pho Tai Gau and the meat was top-notch. I am very pleased and have become a regular customer at this restaurant.
My first time trying Saigon Kitchen was by takeout and I ordered online through their website. Even eating at home, I was impressed with the flavor. I loved that their takeout packaging was organized and the fact that the bowl they give you fits the soup and noodles so no need to search for bowls big enough at home. I ordered the house pho and my bf got the chicken pho. I also ordered the spring rolls for which you can choose your protein so I went with shrimp. My pho had plenty of meat and they didn't skimp out on the veggies and there was plenty of onions and cilantro which I love. The broth had so much flavor and wasn't missing anything. The spring rolls were the perfect contrast and were very fresh. I definitely want to try eating there next time because it was pretty busy when I went to pick up my order. Their restaurant does not have a parking lot so be prepared to search for street parking.
