Overall would recommend if you like sushi.Parking: This location is in the middle of the block on a busy street so finding parking can be very difficult. If you're getting takeout you can take the chance and double park, but at your own risk.
Happy place… this is the accurate name for this place. Fresh sushi, friendly stuff, relaxing music, and only $5.50 for a glass of wine. My to go place for sushi!
I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude or hurt anybody’s business, but I just order from this place and the food was horrible. The chicken was not properly cooked and it looks like the chicken was not previously wash properly and the smell was just awful. Even the rice was not cook .. i also order spicy chicken rolls, and i was not able to eat them because of the odor of the chicken
This is usually a great restaurant. Today the brown rice they sent was rancid and not fit for consumption. I called them to let them know and they just made a lot of excuses, no apology and no offer to refund the item. Looks like they will continue serving that rice to their customers.
Solid 3.5 stars. Good relaxing ambience. The sushi is good enough. It's not outstanding but due to limited options in the area, it definitely satisfies my craving. They are very basic, and not fancy really- at all. The spicy mayo is really spicy but I really like that. I usually get the eel avocado (they always ask if I want sesame seeds on it, lol. Usually the seeds are on the rice but they sprinkle them on top) and I sometimes get the Alaskan roll (the salmon is cooked). I usually love raw sushi rolls but for some reason I feel better getting cooked here. Personal preference. Hubby likes the Explosion roll. Probably best part is the convenience to my apt and the relaxing music.
