Phayul can be a bit challenging to locate since it's tucked away among a row of small Indian shops. However, it's definitely worth the effort, as it offers some of the best Tibetan cuisine around. One of my personal favorites are their momos—make sure to try them with a generous helping of their spicy sauce.
Good Luck Momos offers some delicious options, but it's best to order them freshly prepared. They roll the dough, fill it, and then steam them to order, which makes all the difference. The momos are really tasty! The restaurant is located above Citibank. It's usually quite busy and can get crowded, but the wait is definitely worth it.
This was my first experience with Tibetan cuisine, and it certainly did not disappoint! I came here based on a recommendation from my Tibetan coworker, and I'm so glad I did. The dishes had just the right amount of heat and were absolutely delicious. The hand-pulled noodles were a standout for me, and I highly recommend trying them with the momos. Don't miss out on that!
