Stopped here while driving through Jackson. I called ahead and spoke to Frank, he is the primary reason I am giving this place a high review. Food was good, but Frank's customer service was very much appreciated. He really went out of his way going above and beyond to make sure we had a place to park and a table to eat with our young family of 5.
We stopped here on the way home from Florida. The fresh fish selection here was better than anything we saw in Pensacola. My husband got the redfish, blackened, with fries. I had the seafood platter with veggies. It was huge, wasn't able to eat even half. The salads were fresh with housemade dressing. The rolls were fluffy and tasty. Worth a stop!! BTW, if you want wine, bring it with you.
Really not that good. The food was bland with little flavor. The fries had obviously sat for awhile. We sat next to the kitchen, and every time the door opened you could see how dirty it looked in there. 68 dollars with tip for three kids and two adults. None of us finished our meal.
Had the pot roast special lunch on Wednesday and spent the rest of the day sick with food poisoning. The food had a less than pleasant smell, but I wanted to give them a chance. About 30 minutes after finishing the meal I realized my mistake. Now the owner is complaining about the parking on the street because his/her/its business is failing. If you’re looking to be sick for the day this is the spot for you!
