Check-in: Check-in at Rønnes Hotel progress most smoothly. The reception is located close to a corporate room, which gave us a little confusion at the start. However, we quickly became guided in place. Unfortunately, there arose a misunderstanding regarding our reservation and we didn't get what we expected according to our confirmation. Room: Our hotel room was suitable for a single night. It contained all the necessary facilities, but it was not lavish. One thing to note is that the double room we had booked actually consisted of two single beds that were put together. We had to push them together to avoid one of us rolled down between them. The food: We decided to try the three menu of the hotel and bought champagne. The food was tasty and presented in a classic way. Our only idea was that the main right was slightly in the small side, leaving us a bit hungry last. Service: Unfortunately, the service during our stay was a bit inadequate. We were served our food, but there was limited interaction with the staff. However, there was an exception a Ukrainian servant who was incredibly friendly and interacted with us. We suspect that the general service was pressed when it seemed as if there were several tables to operate than there were personnel available. Payment issue: There arose a problem with our payment and there was too much on our card. Fortunately this was later resolved. Overall, our stay at Rønnes Hotel gave us a feeling of an old-fashioned and charming hotel that has preserved its historic character. However, there were some small challenges with the check-in and the room, as well as a bit of room for improvement in the service during our visit. The main thing is that we enjoyed our time at the hotel and had a pleasant experience, despite the minor challenges.
