Very friendly staff. Your meal is prepared fresh to order. They have many choices on the menu and daily specials. Also a good choice of ice cream to chose from for a hot summer day or anytime

I got the chicken salad sandwich with walnuts and grapes. It was filled overflowing and delicious. I wanted a malt and they had 32 flavors to choose from; I had a banana malt like I haven?t had since the 70?s and it was absolutely perfect! Good food, very helpful and friendly staff, and a hood old fashioned milkshake from days gone by. ????????????????

Had a quick lunch. Needed to add a little more chicken salad to the sandwich. Staff was very friendly, but the young man needs a little more training on waiting tables. Had to ask for napkins and silverware.

We visited Southern Scoops when we were in West Jefferson visiting for a wedding. We always try to support the 'little guys ' and not the big chain restaurants because we ourselves are a small business in SW Florida and realize the importance of the support. I 've gotta tell ya, Southern Scoops and Sandwiches did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in the door we were met with friendly, smiling faces. I am handicapped and the greeter could not have been more accommodating. They have a great variety to choose from on their menu and I think an even greater menu for ice cream, milkshakes etc.Our food was served hot and was very good. The only negative I would say is that after eating I was too full to order any ice cream! Next time I 'm in the area I 'm starting with ice cream first! The owners came over and talked with us after we are and we 're so sweet. Our whole experience from beginning to end was just lovely. They 're a hard working couple living their dream and doing a great job if it!

Southern Scoops is the best place in the county for lunch and/or ice cream. The restaurant and bathroom are always clean. Not many places that keep their bathroom clean. The music is great, 50's/60's. Can't beat the menu selection, too. The food is delicious. And, well, Hersey's ice cream! Can't beat that! I would give them more stars if I could! Owners and staff are very nice and accommodating.
