Joshua Tree Saloon

I have been a regular at this restaurant for years and the food is usually always good. Joe is an amazing server, but Alicia's service was extremely disappointing. She didn't smile, had a bad attitude, and seemed miserable. She acted like serving us was an inconvenience and didn't seem like she wanted to be there at all. When I ordered the avocado pesto burger, I was told they didn't have any avocado without any apology or prior notice. My friend's beer was also left sitting at the bar for at least 5 minutes before we had to ask about it, and the response was rude and monotone. Thankfully, Joe came to the rescue with his great personality and attentiveness. He's the only reason I'm not giving this restaurant 1 star.

We were waiting for the park to get closer to dark as we wanted to check out the stars on a clear night and so we came here for a couple drinks to wait it out and just chilled and talked with some folks next to us. Judy ordered a Cactus Cadillac which she enjoyed w/ 1800 Tequila, Sweet Sour, Lime, OJ and Grand Marnier. Refreshing and of course the waiter brought Onyx our dog water in a bowl. Since we were from Alaska we get all sorts of questions. We satisfied our appetite by splitting a Hatch Chili Wagyu Burger Med rare and it was absolutely delicious! Plenty of parking and being right outside the Park's entrance it was a perfect watering hole! I had to go inside to order drinks as they are limited to what's served food and drink-wise on the Patio. I hear the kitchen is small so they limit. It didn't bother us as I got to check out the cool dive bar interior. Good food, conversations and good drinks! When we come again I know where I'm headed to!

Great spot for a drink and appetizers on patio! Shrimp tacos were also delicious! Loved the atmosphere and live music.

Really good burgers. Kinda long wait but it was busy and only had 3 servers. Super nice staff. Would return in the future.

The establishment has a stylish decor. My boyfriend and I came for an NFL game on a Sunday afternoon. We were waiting at the front when the hostess asked us where we would like to sit. My boyfriend chose a table in front of the TV to watch the game, but another server told the hostess that we could not sit in his section and did not acknowledge us. We were then moved to a booth, which was fine. We tried to enjoy our meal, but unfortunately, the burger and patty melt we ordered were lacking in flavor and tasted like grease. However, the sweet potato fries were surprisingly delicious. The overall experience was just okay. Despite this, the restaurant provided a cool backdrop for photos.
