Contribuisci feedbackOur culinary highlight this year. Evangelia cooks so wonderfully, so deliciously and puts so much passion into it that it is a real delight. We were there for the first time today and were greeted loudly and warmly. For lunch today we had fava, okra pods, tzatziki, risotto and zucchini flowers stuffed with rice. It tasted like our grandma had cooked for us in the best possible way. Wonderfully braised and really well seasoned, which is not a given here in the corner. She only speaks Greek, but we were able to communicate well. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely stop by. This is really a piece of real Crete. It's also just fitting that she went shopping in the car while we ate. Thank you Evangelia, we'll be back soon!
Typical restaurant with a charming owner, who invites you to come and choose typical homemade dishes from her kitchen with different dishes every day: this evening beef stiffado, goat stiffado, chicken in a pan, mixed vegetables, spinach, giant beans, or flat beans Zucchini Pdt well flavored. I'm a bit at a loss as to how to rate this restaurant. We were there around 7:00 p.m., three of six(? tables were occupied. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, but there was a bit of stress in the air. We were then supposed to choose the dishes in the kitchen (which I think was great , but there was only a very small selection left. When the food came after a little eternity, it was lukewarm to cold. No wonder, because plates were warmed up in the microwave and by the time everything was ready, half of it was cold again. The taste was okay, but the price was totally above average in the area. All of our dishes were very oily/greasy. The lady gave us the impression that she was stressed and overwhelmed, so we had the feeling that we didn't want to burden her any further. It took a very long time before we were able to pay. We have eaten better at various places in Crete (in the surrounding area and would not go there again. It's a shame because we were looking forward to the visit based on the reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day and an inconvenient time.
