First time visited this cafe..... what a great place. Good service, great atmosphere and food coffee was awesome Will go back again

Their chips were amazing (if you like mostly crunchy and a little bit soft)!! They were served with the chicken and avocado toastie. Really nice and relaxed place catch up with friends. It isn't in a busy area, so parking was fine. Was able to eat inside or outside. Also had a chai milkshake, was a little bit overpowering but otherwise very nice. Would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere, walking distance from town centre. If you live on view street great for breakfast. Staff are friendly, and quick service! Definitely would recommend!

Been here a few times, and always enjoyed it however on my most recent visit, I was disappointed with a number of different things.I had lunch and coffee here with a colleague this week. It took more than 20 minutes for anybody to take our order - and then only because we prompted them. The food came out a full 5 minutes before the coffee, which is never the way it should be, and then I found a sticker from an avocado in my food, too.The food itself was nice though, and the coffee was certainly good enough. My feeling is that the cafe can't cope with how popular it is. We were there at peak lunch time, and every member of staff appeared rushed off their feet. The layout of the place makes it very difficult too.When I first found The Corner Store, I thought I'd stumbled upon a real gem, but after my most recent experience, I'm not so sure of that.

Stopped here for breakfast on a recent trip to Bendigo. My husband had picked eggs and I had the pancakes, both meals were delicious and portions were large. I couldn't finish my pancakes but they were very tasty. Coffee is great and couldn't fault the service. Have read a few of the negative reviews about prices and bad food but we didn't experience any of that (of course, it may depend on what you order). My husband has been here a few times during trips for work and has never complained about the food. Worth a shot anyway if you're in the area and looking for a quiet place to stop off for breakfast or lunch.
