Bel localino nel centro storico di Kinsale contea di Cork Irlanda. Curato, personale molto gentile. Non abbiamo mangiato da 10, ma comunque è un locale che merita e sono molto ospitali. Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Walked in without booking a table and they were extremely busy, however me and my husband were accommodated. The Restaurant/Bar area was busy so we both ordered fish and chips. Our order was quick the hake was tasty however chips were freezing. Due to the amount of customers we were unable to get a member of staff to complain. Overall it was short notice and food was alright at a cost of 39 euro , can't really say too much
The food was great. Wagyu burgers, rustic fries, the vegetarian lettuce, tomato, and brie sandwich, and the seafood chowder all two thumbs up. The cheese plate is also generous with Irish favorites melting in your mouth along with homemade bread. Service is slow. Food took a while. Unexpectedly, it was an almost two hour lunch.
**** on you After reading an Italian-themed poster in your restaurant, I eating an awful chicken dish with bacon, pesto, and Parmesan. I can only say: 'Proud to be Italian! ' Maybe we don 't speak English in a proper way, but we know how to have gorgeous dinners in restaurants that know how to respect customers of every nationality.
Had great experience at the White House. On arrival Olivia at front desk was so helpful with our parking queries and booked taxi for us.Big room up lots of stairs but worth the climb...Comfortable bed and pillows looking out on the street. Best breakfast ever, and we have stayed in many hotels..menu choice and service great from lady called Agi..will defenitly recommend
My husband ordered the seafood platter, and they agreed to halve the dish for him (at €50 as l don’t eat seafood and it is usually a meal to be shared by two. He said the dish was OK, not very much seafood for the price and only one oyster! And the mussels were absolutely minuscule, smaller than my little finger nail. When he told the manager, she said oh yes, we don’t get large mussels here in Ireland (Have they never heard of Bantry Bay Mussels? but she said they were very tasty! (Which they were not particularly . And he was quite ill during the night, and the next day, so we won’t be eating here again. I asked for chips instead of mash with my chicken, the chicken came with mash and the chips were forgotten. They came halfway through the meal, however. Enough said. Catering for tourists who are only in Kinsale for a couple of days so wouldn’t go back anyway.
