The staff are very nice...but as a bit of a foodie, cook and having traveled to Thailand, I would say the food is pretty average and expensive...mmmm not real Thai food..the australianized version. Watered down curries and just average..nothing special...it's a shame because I love to cook Thai food and it's not really that hard..they are rarely busy when we go there early..so not sure what the problem is..
This restaurant always has a great range on their menu. The food is consistently good as with the staff. Have been here several times and it keeps us coming back
It's a shame. This restaurant has always been good in the past but having been flat out lied to I will never return. We ordered through Menulog, but didn't receive a confirmation message so we phoned the restaurant to be told that they order had been received and was already on its way. An hour later, when our food had not arrived, we phoned back to be told our order had never been received - despite being told it was already being delivered an hour previously. Used to eat here a lot. Never again.
For a Saturday night there were few diners so that's a worrying image as soon as you walk in the door. Nevertheless we were given a nice table. The Restaurant presents very well - nice décor and very clean. We ordered Thai fish cakes for part of our Entrée and they were not home made and were very dry - the chicken satays however were delightful and the peanut sauce delicious. Our mains (green Thai chicken curry, prawn pad thai and steamed rice) were very good with the exception of the green papaya (pawpaw) salad which was soooo hot with chilli that you could not taste anything else and the sweetness usually infused into this dish with palm sugar syrup was missing. The table service from the female staff member was terrible - literally just plonking the food onto the side of the table - no manners whatsoever. In sharp contrast was a nice young man who was very attentive and polite. This place could be buzzing - the food is really rather good but there is just something missing - at least it's BYO so that's a small bonus. Might give it one more try ... might
