We ordered an iced coffee and an iced orange chai . Iced coffee tasted burnt , the coffee and the chai had a bitter nasty taste that left an oily coating in our mouths. Iced coffee was not creamy and tasty, consisted of bitter unsweetened espresso, not enough milk and too much ice. More to making an iced coffee than cold coffee with ice in it. Orange chai was bitter, watery and really quite confronting to attempt to drink. We did not finish our drinks , and, no we didn't ask for a refund. When a machine can make better coffee, why bother?Won't go back again. Oh, they were $6.50 each as well.
We stopped here because GJ's is familiar and we (thought) we knew what we'd get. Unfortunately the coffee wasn't good, not sure if the beans were different or the barista did something wrong. Also, advertised free WiFi which wasn't there.
Coffee and cake was good, service was good chairs are comfortable the only gripe, get rid of the noisy beeping oven in the corner its too loud!!!
Nice place to grab a coffee on the run or sit in and relax.... good service and friendly staff.... I always go here when in Launceston.... can be a busy place though....????
