McDonald's - Launceston

Absolute rubbish service. Been there 3 times now the first two time they got the order wrong. Did not provide what I ordered and paid for cheaper meal both time. Third time was today when I ordered a Egg and Bacon Mcmuffin breakfast. Got the coffee but no meal. After 2 people who had ordered after me received their meals I asked where mine was they had forgotten it. The Manager on duty was too busy running around complaining in a loud voice about how busy he was to actually manage the place. I won't be back.

We regularly go to McDonalds for a snack or a main meal. The service is fast the food is very good for the prices charged are also good. The seating in the restaurant is comfy and I always love to read the local news while I sip my coffee.

Called in to the MacDonalds at Howick Street Launceston for some takeaways for the kids when we got home. There was a big line up in the drive through so we went in to order. We ordered 2 McChicken burgers which was fine , we then ordered 4 cheese burgers with only the burger and bbq sauce sundaes etc. we went back to the car to drive back to Bicheno and my wife said I will just check if the order is right. Just as well she did cause the 4 cheese burgers were wrong, so she took them back to ask for what she had ordered and after a higher staff member said ok the order was redone. 4 cheese burgers with only the burger and bbq sauce. We should of check I suppose but thought all would be good second time around but when we returned home and took the order out guess what there was no burgers only the bun with bbq sauce. Wot a joke I was going to ring but thought everyone should know and to check your order EVERY time. SERIOUSLY I hope the Manager reads this and kicks someone's behind. We were in there at 1.30 pm today 9th August 2017.

When ordering with the screens, I would have found it logical that if I am selecting the button called McCafe classics, that the McCafe would prepare it. When I ordered my McMuffin this morning and a Coffee Frappe, the muffin came out first. When I questioned to ask where to pick up the frappe from, the young guy referred me to the McCafe (Which I what I would have thought). Then when I went to the McCafe, they referred me back to the general counter. I went back to the general counter, and the manager this time was at the counter. He took a while to look at my docket to finally realise where and whom was to make it, and then for some reason got it from the Drive Thru area. Remarkable.

Quick service, rarely sent to waiting bays, coffee is actually really good. Mistakes happen as is expected, staff are usually responsive and happy to help. Will always go to Invermay rather than south launceston or kings meadows.
