My wife being a petite small eater had an Entree as a main course Warm potato terrine, spiced eye fillet steak tartare, and I had the Poached Blue Eye Trevalla, crab cake, grilled king prawns, asparagus hot tartare sauce. Both served to perfection, beautifully cooked and presented. This restaurant is not exorbitantly expensive like some in Launceston but good value for money. Service was excellent with the waiter seating my wife on arrival (nice touch); and the excellent unintrusive service continued throughout our dining experience. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely meal and great service Alida!
This restaurant is perfect for celebrating a special birthday. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The trevalla was cooked to perfection, and all four of us in our group enjoyed our meals. The lemon tart was a standout, although the chocolate panna cotta was not as impressive. I highly recommend this venue for a lovely dining experience. The only downside was that the room was quite dark.
As locals, my adult daughter and I stopped here for a coffee after the Zig Zig track yesterday. Quaint looking place. Enjoyed our coffees on the sunny deck. Noticed they're currently advertising a Mother's Day lunch.
Delicious food we had a variety of entrees and mains amongst 7 of us. The crab entree and the steak tartare were especially fine. All delicious. Service was quite slow to start with but picked up as the meal progressed. A few mix ups delivering the wrong meal to the wrong person but no real problems. The restaurant was just a tad too expensive to be considered good value.
