Francois Patisserie - Leederville

It's been a good 6 months since I was here last. My choice was the lemon tart, always a winner here, but not this time. Soggy pastry with a large lemon slice. Latte comes in a mug? Hopefully the usual owners are just away...

Their chocolate croissants are delicious and the desserts are amazing. They also have some sandwiches that look pretty good. I always try to go to this place when I'm in Perth.

One of our favourites to visit on a Saturday morning for delicious breakfast. The coffee is perfect and the close knit staff are always cheerful and genuinely happy. Although a little hard to find and parking next to impossible, its definitely worth the visit. Try the pancakes!Only downside is it is closed on Sundays.

We had a sandwich, cake and coffee. The turkey sandwhich was really disappointing. The roll was dry and the filling meagre. The cakes however were excellent. Probably best to stick to cakes and pastries unless my experience was a once off.

I have been coming here for breakfast with my family and partner for a long time now and am forever thankful to my brother for bringing us the first time to this hidden treasure.The owners come and have a chat to people and over time they get to know you. It is lovely to see them greet regulars by their first name ... not something that you see very much these days.They have a lovely choice for breakfast including classic bason and eggs, croissants and other fresh pastries and my favourite - the berry crepe with creme anglais - yum.The food is always freshly made and you can definitely tell the difference between their home made bakery items and store boughts ones.It is worth the trip to Leederville to eat here.You can also order cakes etc for special occasionsPlenty of parking available in the carpark
