Kalapaki Beach Hut - Lihue

This small burger place has some great burgers that do not break the bank. I mean, eating never goes on hawaii, but the prices here are not bad. eating is also quite good and they have some unique options if they want to be a little more adventurous.

Fantastic food! We visited for lunch, and it was pleasantly uncrowded. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The Taro horses are a must-try, even for those who aren’t fans of taro. It’s a perfect little beach food spot for those looking for a casual meal rather than a full sit-down experience with formal attire. The fish of the day is also delicious, and the late breakfast options are wonderful too.

This is a fantastic spot for burgers and fries. The outdoor seating really enhanced the dining experience. The burgers were fresh and cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the teriyaki burger with the pineapple slice; it was exceptional. The fries were served hot and crispy, just the way I like them. I've heard great things about the breakfast here, although I haven’t tried it myself. It's conveniently located near Kalapaki Beach, making it an easy walk to and from the beach.

We had breakfast here and the prices were very reasonable (around $9 for an omelet), plus the food was delicious! I really enjoyed my speck and tomato omelet, and the breakfast cakes were also great. The staff was friendly and even offered every customer a complimentary piece of pineapple! Additionally, you can dine right on the beach at their outdoor terrace. I absolutely love this place!

Walked here from the Marriott and were not disappointed. We had the Hawaiian shave ice and the aloha burger...I know touristy as F, but whatever, they looked good. The shave ice was not as good as JoJo’s but better than anything we’ve had outside Kauai. And the aloha burger, while it sounded like a mosh-mash of random stuff, actually went together very well and was the best burger we had on the island. Teriyaki sauce, pineapple, medium rare burger, and the normal fixings...it all went together with the flavors complementing each other. Pretty good for $10. They were out of the Taro Fries when we came so no review of those guys.
