Kenji Burger Lihue

Ordered their delicious Kenji Burger and Furikake Fries for takeout. Nicely surprised that even though it was for take out, the food was still delicious! The patties were still soft and juicy, and the buns were still firm even an hour after pickup. I honestly don't really taste the difference in beef for Kauai grass fed beef but it was still good. The fries were also still crisp although they were not too warm anymore. Still, it was quite delicious and a wonderful meal to eat on the beach.

I heard great reviews so we tried it. It was a good burger. I had the HAAS burger with pineapple slaw and bacon and Japanese BBQ sauce. We also had a kenji burger and fries. They were out of milkshakes that day. It was good but not I have to come back great. The bottom bun was soggy from the heat on the plate. The fries were warm not hot. The service was good not great.

Went there for lunch, it was a bit crowded. Wait time to sit was about 5 minutes. We ordered our food and waited about 10-15 minutes for it. Observed the environment and noticed that they had one (1) hostess and one (1) waitress. Waitress was also the table busser. So we were prepared to wait. Our waitress, although friendly and busy, wasn't able to fill our water, she needed to be asked in order for it to be refilled. Our food was delicious but the patty was a bit dry. If not for the truffle aioli sauce, gooey cheese, and mushrooms it wouldn't have tasted as good ???? as it did. The furikake fries ???? was also delicious but I wouldn't pair it with the truffle burger, because it was a contrast to it. Furikake fries had furikake flakes, sesame seeds, teriyaki and mayo sauce drizzled on it. For me plain fries would've been good enough. The fried chicken was ok, nothing special about that. I'm not dissing their food just being honest, to each his/her opinion. Next time I go back I'll try their seafood burritos and other non-burger items. Giving this place 4 stars because of waitress. Not once did she come to check on us after we were served, had to call her to get more water, however she did pretty good working the dining area by herself. So kudos to her for that.

This place is a must! Food, price, and services! We tried sushi burritos, super good, also we ordered 2 different burgers, Hapa and truffle burger, yummy yummy. Additional we ordered Furikaki fries, more than delicious! You will never regret to come and eat here! Customer service super top?

Had the chicken katsu sandwich and furikake fries. They were delicious! The Katsu was juicy and extremely crispy. The sauce on the fries was really good too.
