Rolands Mix Plate - Lihue

This restaurant is perfect for breakfast. I visited in 2018 and then again on August 22, 2019. They offer reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere for tourists on the island. During my week-long stay, we dined there three times. The food was hearty and quite tasty. I highly recommend this little gem. Kauai hasn’t impressed me as much as other destinations, but this place stands out. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed here; it has a genuine local vibe and quality food. I plan to return on my next trip to the island, as it’s one of the few affordable eateries I found that also serves great food. It's definitely on my must-visit list.

Excellent dining experience with prompt service, though it is quite pricey. If you're seeking authentic, no-frills cuisine, you should definitely stop here. We thoroughly enjoyed the spam musubi and their version of loco moco, which came with garlic fried rice. It was all incredibly delicious!

This is a fantastic spot for a Hawaiian breakfast. It's not fancy or upscale, just a great place for delicious food. We tried the ham and cheese omelet and the "Big Maco" (as seen in the picture).

Great local food! Was craving a good plate lunch and this is it! Huge portions! My husband ordered a burger that had to be a whole pound of beef! Try the yum yum fries you won't be disappointed! Chop chop salad is nice for a lighter lunch. Can't wait to come back and try more! Don't miss the turn it's easy to miss but you can't afford to miss it!
