Not only is it relatively reasonably priced (compared to other higher end restaurants), the service is amazing, the portions are decent, and the food is delicious. During my week on the island I went to Gaylord's twice first for a pre wedding event and second on my own. Both times the servers were so kind and accommodating. Food wise we tried the fresh catch, short ribs, seared ahi, plantation pasta, and pork osso bucco. Of all of these my favorite was the fresh catch. It was sooo good and the fish was so fresh. My least favorite was the osso bucco, but even that was great, just not as great as the seafood options. I definitely recommend getting seafood and also ordering a mai tai! Their mai tais are amazing too!
Beautiful setting in an old plantation house. There are shops to visit so if you reserve a spot early you can shop a tad before dinner. The bread is fresh fluffy and full of rosemary flavor with a hint of salt. We ordered the spring rolls and French onion soup as an app. Both were good. I personally recommend the soup over the spring rolls. It's rich and very tasty. As entrees my husband and I ordered the specials of the day. Shrimp scampi which was full of flavor and shrimp, mushrooms, capers and tomatoes. It was a large portion that could easily be split to save room for dessert. My hubs ordered the Fish of the Day, it was prepared in a light lemon sauce with asparagus served over a potato mash. He is a big eater and was stuffed. This is a great spot that we will visit again.
My wife and I, both in our 50s, have lived here all our lives but this was our first time eating here. The food was really good and the service was great. The poke nachos is one of the best I've had. Can't wait to eat here again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Ahi Poke Stack

Gorgeous plantation house and delicious menu. Relax and grab a drink or two in the lounge before dinner. This isn't fast food- you're going to want to savor the meals the company, and your surroundings.
