Root 8 - Lincoln Ave

We found root 8 in the last summer when we drove from burlington to st. catharine and wanted to eat somewhere on the way. we were so happy to find a fully vegan restaurant in the environment and really enjoyed our meal. we had the buddha bowl and a panini with fries. the women there were very friendly. we couldn't go any of the baked but they looked great.

Amazingly delicious full of vegan and gluten-free menu. each product is excellent. very good juices and smoothies. decadente desserts. many vegan protein sources. delicious garlic bread.

I love this sweet place. I had a Caesar salad with buffalo flower wings. it was so good. one of the best vegan meals I had. my friend, who is not vegan, had the burger and loved him. Portions are big and were not overly expensive. also large customer service.

We have to agree that the cauliflower wings are some of the best faux wings we've ever tasted crispy, spicy, delicious! Complimentary corn chips come with a delicious green mango salsa. The restaurant is small but aesthetically pleasing, including the bathroom! Portions are generous. The food is a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality. I could not believe that the chocolate-chip cookie we had at the end was vegan! Hope that this place stays around for a long time!
