Olive Garden - Linville

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. It always makes for a comforting meal. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy with all the families, so it's not really a place where I'd come to read a book. We ended up sitting at the bar and had a great experience overall, despite a not-so-welcoming initial encounter. Our bartender, Taliek, was fantastic and very kind. He kept our soup coming and worked hard, even picking up the slack for someone else. Originally, we sat at a high-top table in the bar area due to a longer wait for other seating. It was just the two of us, and the hostess said the bartender would come over shortly. However, after waiting for a while, a lady rudely informed us that we were not allowed to sit there as it was a waiting area. We mentioned what the hostess had told us, but she was dismissive and walked away. We considered leaving, but two seats opened up at the bar, so we moved over. Taliek was behind the bar, not the other lady, so we stayed. Despite being busy, we were able to quickly order food and drinks. My soup, salad, and breadsticks arrived promptly, and I even got to enjoy multiple bowls of zuppa toscana. My sister also loved her meal and wine. We took some food to go, including a $6 spaghetti with meat sauce and shrimp scampi. Overall, it was a great experience, thanks to Taliek's hard work and kindness. I deducted a star for the initial encounter with the rude lady, but Taliek deserves 5 stars. I will definitely return for more delicious food, especially if Taliek is serving us.

We had a sampling of many dishes and loved them all my favorite was the lamb. We will be back for sure our service was excellent as well

Docked off 4 stars because of the service. Server Remy was rude and unprofessional. She 'd roll her eyes and get irritated when our table would ask for refills, or anything else that we shouldn 't even have to ask for to begin with. If we asked for something, she 'd hit us with a one moment under her breath every time...come on now. She needs an attitude change. Working in customer service requires a decent attitude and a certain amount of professionalism, and this was not up to par. To add, she didn 't pre-buss or take away a single dirty dish throughout the duration of the meal. By the end of the meal, we could barely move our elbows on the table. Although, the food was good.

Below you will find helpful info to determine if this is for you- They have plenty of parking. Located near the mall and several shopping centers. When It came the place the restrooms were clean and the bar area was okay some tables were sticky and food on the seats. The staff were friendly, but not attentive. The drinks were a miss and we ending up just getting shots or beer. The blue afanti looked good but tasted like sour mix which wasn't noted to be an ingredient on the menu. When it was remade they used an excessive amount of syrup to the point you couldn't drink it. The shots came out half a shot and tasted like the liquor was watered down. The bread was warm and good. The soups were okay. The salad was okay. The shrimp scampi was good and the shrimp and pepper appetizer was nice.

Today was terrible, 1st....the table was dirty, 2nd.....we was seat in the sun...., 3rd worst time of this experience was the waitress! This lady was so unprofessional she grated cheese all over my plate, table, my lady I. I will never spend money again on this one!!! I really wish I could remember the fat broad name.......she was the worst ever!!!
