We were there for a late lunch. It took almost an hour after we ordered until our food arrived and it wasn't worth the wait. My wife's salad was mediocre and my sandwich was poor. if you want to eat on this busy street there are lots alternatives.
The waiter was very pushy and didn't let us choose at peace. The food was disgusting, too expensive, and that's even without mentionning the nasty lady with her hair in my chocolate mousse. A HAIR ! She still make me pay for it. When we left, the little waiter jumped of joy like a marmoset.
I came across this after a long walk on my first day. The wait staffs are very nice but the food was terribly salty. I ordered a mixed paella, which when arrived looked nothing like the picture that enticed me. It looked like it was cooked in too much sauce/spice as it had a heavy curry/cumin based look. I now know that dishes around here have more salt than I'm used to but even that couldn't explain the amount of salt in the dish. The house wine was great and reasonably priced but iced tea for 3 euros was a bit much. Don't bother with their facilities downstairs. I don't think it's checked often. Another thing that bothered me whilst there was some kind of farm-like smell. It wasn't really bad, it was just something in the air.
Nasty lady behind the counter who touched all of the cake pieces she was slicing to serve. She saw that I noticed and she did not care or hide the fact she did that! She was verbally nasty to the Indian waiters and my husband! The waiters seem to hate working for or with her! People next to us ordered a small paella, which had fake lobster and curry in it. The dish was not prepared properly- paella should be made with safran and have a lot less sauce! They charge a higher price for sitting at a table inside and argue the menu said it; however, we ordered from the poster on the wall!
