The Brother House - Louang Namtha

Not much to recommend it really. Food isn't authentic, greasy and fried like its western equivalent. Place was recommended by a friend, but we left as soon as we could. Couldn't recommend anyone going, there are far better bars and restaurants nearby.

The food was incredibly tasty and the ambiance was pleasant! The staff was very friendly and kind. The waiter's name means "happy" in English. Luckily, they sent us our photos and videos. (Kakao ID: humpbackwhalez) We can't wait to go back again!

The menu offers a variety of options, with the highlight being the opportunity to enjoy a DIY BBQ Tom Yum experience. They provide you with raw ingredients, including meat, vegetables, and an egg, for you to cook on an electronic grill at your table. The grill is connected to a broth that simmers with vegetables and pork, adding flavor to your meal. After grilling the meat and adding the egg and vegetables to the boiling broth, you combine everything in a bowl for a delicious and satisfying dish. I personally found the buffalo meat to be too tough for my liking, but overall, this restaurant is a great place to eat. Just be prepared for the time it takes to prepare your meal and the intense heat from the grill, especially in warm weather. A definite must-try for a very good dining experience!
