I was looking forward to trying the lentil sweet potato shepherd cake, but it was no longer available. We ended up ordering the Portobello sandwich, 3 cheese ravioli, and a garden salad. The highlight of the meal was definitely the salad, which was fresh and delicious. The restaurant also offered a grilled veggie plate, vegan hot dog, and an impossible burger. As a supporter of sustainable food practices, I was not interested in the impossible burger due to its use of genetic engineering. I would prefer a homemade black bean burger instead. Overall, the food at Lubec Brewing was tasty, but on the pricier side. It may be worth checking both the menus at Lubec Brewing and the Inn to ensure there are vegetarian options available.
I have eaten here several times during the last years when I visited the area, and it is my favorite place. Unlike almost anywhere else for 100 miles, they want to give a choice for vegans, and the staff is understanding and recording. And it is good food in a great atmosphere, with magnificent views of the wildlife. A must for vegans looking for a good meal up here. (The brewery down the street is also good, but the hours and the menu are quite limited.
Great quality (and some local) eat, excellent craft cocktails and friendly downeast service. highly recommended for everyday or special occasions.
Great location with beautiful view, friendly and informative staff, excellent eating.
Cohills gas house offers delicious food and friendly service on a cold autumn evening in lubec maine. Although they worked with less kitchen staff than normal, eating was good and quick. the view of the bay of the window table cannot beat.
