However, our server, Stella, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The potatoes and corn were delicious, and the sauce had a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. The boiled shrimp was seasoned perfectly—absolutely amazing! I did wish for some clarified butter, though. We ordered 3 pounds of crawfish, and that person was very pleased with their meal. The fries were thick and well-seasoned, and they were so good! The Dr. Pepper was just okay, but the water tasted fantastic! We will definitely return to try more items from the menu.
The oysters? No way! I had to send them back. They had great flavor, but they were incredibly chewy—almost like chewing gum—and impossible to swallow! The waiter mentioned it might have been a bad batch from New York. Now, the gator bites? Fantastic! They were fresh, hot, full of flavor, and a generous serving. Ralph Kacoos and Razoos don’t even come close. The Ragin Cajun burger was pretty good too!
Was recommended to come here when I was craving some good shrimp. My cajun partner won?t typically eat at ?cajun restaurants? outside of Louisiana. Was honestly pretty blown away. Service was excellent, drinks were excellent, the food was excellent!Live music and heated tables on the patio. We will definitely go back!
The shrimp and grits here are the best I have ever tasted! We really appreciated the rich flavors in every dish. The bread pudding and beignets were fantastic as well!
Love this place. For all things Cajun this is definitely the spot. The Atmosphere is beautiful. It has become my favorite Cajun Kitchen this side of Texas hands down .
