Raise's Place Bakery - Lynchburg

A friend recommended this place and I’m so glad I stopped by. I ordered the January Special Swiss burger. Wow delicious and an amazing value. Plus it came with chips and a scrumptious lemon bar.

Wow, not sure anything else is needed to be said. Best burger downtown lynchburg by far. Staff is very friendly and really happy something more than just the mundane coffee shop has moved in here. Great lunch spot along with bakery needs to take home or to a party.

Just inside the doors of the Lynchburg Community Market, to the right of Barb's Dream Hut, you'll discover this delightful little bakery. It's become one of our go-to spots whenever we're downtown. The oatmeal whoopee pie I tried was incredible, and after sampling several of their treats, I can confidently say it's my favorite! My boys also love their donuts and croissants. Recently, we opted for their lunch special of chicken pot pie, which came with a cookie and a roll, all packaged for takeout due to COVID. It was delicious, filling, and very reasonably priced. There are still tables available in the market if you prefer to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Ken and his team at the bakery are amazing! I’ve placed two orders for my team, and each time they've delivered. Their bagels are delicious and come in a variety of flavors, plus they’re incredibly accommodating. If you’re in the Lynchburg area and need a good breakfast for a large group, this is definitely the place to go!
