Ruby Chinese Restaurant - Maddington

I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. I appreciate that they are willing to make changes without any hassle. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is always made fresh. The Ruby's special fried rice is outstanding, in my opinion it is the best in the area. Additionally, their honey chicken is the best I have ever had anywhere.

Compared to other restaurants, Honey Chicken is the best. The coating is nice and the food is delicious. It was delivered on time and the driver was friendly. I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely order again.

We spent $50 on Chinese food and paid an extra $8.50 for delivery. We had to wait 50 minutes for our food to be delivered.

The salt and pepper chicken is absolutely amazing. 10/10 got it delivered as well and it arrived in half the quoted Time hot and fresh. Will definitely order again.

18th November 2015 we placed an order at Ruby Chinese Restaurant in Maddington. Sweet and sour pork pieces were huge, to huge to place in your mouth, and they don't have knives for you to cut the pieces. The batter was so thickly coated on the pork pieces and cooked to the extent the batter looked burnt. The texture of the pork was hard and dry due to way over frying. The Satay beef we ordered to be cooked well done, was barely cooked, the pieces of cauliflower and brocoli on the Satay was so old it was mushy and chewy without an ounce of crunch, the vegetables were not fit to be used for cooking. The container with the sweet and sour sauce was LESS than half full, and it was a small container. The fried rice was very nice. The taste of the meal apart from the Rice was very dissapointing, we will not be going back there, it is nice to support your local restaurants, but unfortunately we will not support this one again. So it looks like its back to The Embassador in Cannington which is nothing less than 5 star, it is a little further to travel but well worth the extra.
