I never get the amount of ramen it feels like I usually get at the restaurant and when I am sick and need to go these thin to go containers..just always feels like I lost out.. this container made me feel like I got a TON of food in a smart and awesome way
Chen's dumplings should be renamed to Chen's Palace of bland. Average tasting dumplings with below average noodles. If the broth had some seasoning in it it would be called water. I also ordered sticky chicken rice, which was 100% correct. However, it seemed they left out seasoning in the recipe. This place is great if you're allergic to good food.
I recently had the opportunity to try a unique dining experience, but was disappointed by the lack of dining facilities at the restaurant. It primarily functions as a fast food or takeout spot, with a heavy focus on the latter. While the food was decent, I felt it was overpriced considering the portion sizes, lackluster atmosphere, and the fact that similar items could be purchased from a grocery store. Overall, I found the restaurant to be underwhelming compared to other dining options available.
The dumplings were delicious, but our noodle bowls were disappointing. Priced at $13, they only included noodles, a small amount of meat, and bok choy. The broth lacked flavor and the noodles were undercooked. The duck had too many bones and was practically inedible.
The noodle soup with chicken is fantastically delicious. It's the ultimate comfort food. We enjoy ordering the soup with the creamy custard buns for dessert.
